The Cash Register in your pocket...
Use your mobile phone to process credit card payments from your customers from anywhere.
On site, on the road, on board, on the move - wherever your job takes you.
All you need is a standard mobile phone, which becomes an EFTPOS terminal in your pocket.
You don't even need to make a phone call. Your mobile phone communicates with iCharge Mobile using
SMS text messaging, a feature available on all mobile phones and all networks.
Transaction details are simply entered as a text message and sent to the iCharge Mobile service number.
A response message is returned within a few seconds to confirm if the transaction is approved or declined.
If the card is good for payment, money is in your bank before you leave the job.
No more end-of-day paperwork, visits to the bank or double handling of transactions.

Who can use iCharge Mobile?
iCharge Mobile is designed for the convenience of today's mobile businesses large and small -
anyone who needs to make sales or perform services while on the road or at the customer's site without being tied
down to a standard office or shop environment.
The range of potential users is immense and includes:
couriers, delivery drivers, electricians, builders, plumbers, direct sales reps, equipment repairers, mechanics, gardeners/landscapers, pet care providers, locksmiths, piano tuners, home/office cleaners, market stall operators, trade show exhibitors, removalists, caterers, just to name a few.
Anywhere commerce
iCharge Mobile not only allows you to open for business anywhere and anytime,
but is the only such service in Australia that works with any phone over any network supporting any card brand.
You can also have your merchant account with any major Australian bank including ANZ Bank, BankWest,
Commonwealth Bank, National Australia Bank, St George Bank and Westpac.
iCharge Mobile is an independent service and there are no tie-ins, allowing you to choose and change banks,
networks and phones anytime.
Use your existing phone and SIM and there is no additional hardware to pay for, carry around and possibly lose or damage.
WAP or SMS?
You should always use iCharge Mobile WAP if at all possible because:
iCharge Mobile WAP costs less then iCharge Mobile SMS per transaction.
iCharge Mobile WAP is more user-friendly than iCharge Mobile SMS
iCharge Mobile WAP has a higher level of security than iCharge Mobile SMS
iCharge Mobile WAP has a faster response because there are sometimes delays on the SMS network
You should only use iCharge Mobile SMS if:
you have an older model mobile phone that does not support GPRS/WAP
you are in an area where you do not have GPRS coverage
Once your mobile phone is registered, you can use either iCharge Mobile SMS and iCharge Mobile WAP interchangeably from the same phone.
For example, you can use iCharge Mobile SMS as a backup if you have some problem with iCharge Mobile WAP due to network coverage or service.
What about security?
All SMS text messages, like voice signals, are encrypted using the A5 algorithm during transmission through the air.
They are only carried "in the clear" within the internal systems of the SMS message centre,
but this is a secure private network controlled by the telephone company and is not accessible to the public.
Another algorithm, COMP128, is used in the GSM system to authenticate users (calling numbers).
The calling number is used by iCharge to identify the merchant account to deposit the payment.
While it is theoretically possible to break any encryption, including the A5 and COMP128 algorithms,
it is extremely unlikely as it would require access to prohibitively expensive resources to succeed.
In summary, while iCharge Mobile SMS is secure, to be assured of the highest level of security for your transactions,
iCharge Mobile WAP is definitely the way to go.
